Sobre si mismo

"Sobre si mismo" is a multidisciplinary project that stems from
study continuous transport systems for the creation
of a sculptural score that inhabits the movement.
A machine or mechanism, in which, the bodies investigate the
possibility of the constant and the direction of a path.

At each rotation, a crack in the universe is a point
of beginning and end. Automated bodies that
investigate the pace and direction of a journey, in a
constant search to reveal the hidden.
Here the machine is taken as an element that condenses
the instances of existence of a city. His
condition and utility. It seeks to investigate and
create an environment suspended in metaphor with the
bodies, to establish new poetics and realities.
At the same time as the object, devoid of
performes, enables the question, the zero point of a
construction, a repair, a
transformation? The moment where everything can be.

The sound score was built from the
compilation of machine sounds without
human intervention.
Then the particulars and modifications of the
sound in connection with the body. As part of
investigation process began tours
seeking to capture particular sounds of the context in
where the work was created, driven by the question...
What does the river sound like?

The objective of this research prior to the creation of
the sound score, consisted of capturing particularities
that later serve as triggers to amplify or
distort new poetic resonances.
This creative process, interdisciplinary and
research on the bodies, I investigate the possibility of
the constant, the methodologies to flow- like the
human mobility or a stream of water provides
sensation of infinity to the scene, analogically with the
infinity of time.



Sobre sí mismo es un proyecto multidisciplinar que parte de
estudiar sistemas de transportes continuos para la creación
de una partitura escultórica que habite el movimiento.
Una máquina o mecanismo, en el cual, los cuerpos indagan la
posibilidad de lo constante y la dirección de un trayecto.

En cada rotación , una fisura en el universo es un punto
de comienzo y fin. Cuerpos automatizados que
investigan el ritmo y la dirección de un trayecto, en una
constante búsqueda por develar lo oculto.
Aquí se toma la máquina como elemento que condensa
las instancias de existencia de una ciudad. Su
condición y utilidad. Con ella se busca investigar y
crear un ambiente suspendido en metáfora con los
cuerpos, para instaurar nuevas poéticas y realidades.
Al mismo tiempo que el objeto, desprovisto de
performes, habilita la pregunta ¿el punto cero de una
construcción, de una reparación, de una
transformación? El momento donde todo puede ser.

La partitura sonora se construyo a partir de la
recopilación de sonidos propios de la máquina sin
intervención humana.
Luego se exploraron las particulares y modificaciones del
sonido en vinculación con el cuerpo. Como parte del
proceso de investigación se iniciaron recorridos
buscando capturar sonidos particulares del contexto en
donde fue creada la obra, impulsados por la pregunta ...
¿A qué suena el río?

El objetivo de esta investigación previa a la creación de
la partitura sonora, consistio en capturar particularidades
que luego sirvan como disparadores para amplificar o
distorsionar nuevas resonancias poéticas.
Este proceso creativo, de carácter interdisciplinario e
investigativo sobre los cuerpos, indago la posibilidad de
la constante, las metodologías para fluir- como la
movilidad humana o una corriente de agua aporta
sensación de infinitud a la escena, analógicamente con la
infinidad del tiempo.
